FAQs
What services does Brillington & Brothers offer?
Brillington offers full custom and (soon) made-to-measure tailoring for suits, jackets, trousers, and shirts - all handcrafted in our Gunawarman atelier. We also carry ready-to-wear pieces designed with the same construction principles. Formalwear, Smart Casual, Daily Wear, we got you covered.
Where are your suits made?
Every garment is hand-built in our Gunawarman atelier, in our own workshop in Jakarta. Each suit passes through the hands of real tailors - from pattern making to final pressing - ensuring the precision and comfort that define Brillington craftsmanship.
What makes Brillington different from other tailors?
Brillington combines Italian ease with British discipline - what we call The Brillington Cut. We are well known for our light tailoring; unconstructed jackets, light paddings, the things that emphasizes proportion, comfort, and movement. We design and construct in-house, ensuring a garment that truly feels your own.
How long does it take to make a suit?
Custom suits typically take 2 months with 2-3 times fittings, depending on fittings and fabric selection as most of our fabrics are imported.
For travelling clients or trunk show orders, we offer adjusted timelines upon request.
What are your price ranges?
Full Custom: starts from IDR 22,000,000
Made-to-Measure (soon)
Everyday Tailoring (Open Quarter Tailor): starts from IDR 5,000,000
Each tier reflects different degrees of personalization, pattern work, and hand finishing.
What is the process of ordering a full custom suit at Brillington?
Every Brillington suit begins with a conversation — not a measurement.
Step 1 — Consultation.
You’ll meet directly with our fitter or co-founder to discuss your lifestyle, preferences, and intended use of the suit, jackets or other items. This helps us recommend the right construction, cloth weight, and silhouette.
Step 2 — Fabric & Style Selection.
We’ll guide you through a curated library of cloths, from lightweight wools to seasonal blends. Together we decide details .
Step 3 — Measurement & Pattern.
Your body is measured and observed - posture, shoulder balance, and natural stance. From there, we draft your personal pattern in-house to ensure proportion and mobility.
Step 4 — Fitting Sessions.
Your first fitting is about structure; your second refines movement and drape.
Step 5 — Finishing & Collection.
Once approved, the garment is hand-finished, pressed, and reviewed before delivery. We’ll schedule a final try-on to ensure comfort and silhouette are exactly right.
